I’ve always been driven to apply my education in meaningful ways—a goal I set for myself even before becoming a parent. My journey into science and technology took an unexpected but exciting turn when I first visited Fermilab’s Lederman Center with my kids. That experience sparked a deep connection to the lab’s mission of exploring the mysteries of space, matter, and time. While my role there was in safety and security, I found immense fulfillment in supporting scientific progress and ensuring the well-being of those pushing the boundaries of discovery.

Beyond my professional work, I dedicate my time to community engagement and sustainability initiatives. I’ve led projects in EV readiness, organized school supply drives, provided marketing support for local businesses and events, and helped build a welcoming space through the Glen Ellyn Newcomers and Glen Ellyners groups. These experiences have reinforced my belief in accountability, collaboration, and the power of simply showing up.

While I don’t claim to have all the answers—whether in science, technology, or life—I do believe in challenging norms, embracing innovation, and taking action. My focus is on making real, measurable contributions—whether by advocating for sustainability, fostering strong community connections, or supporting the people and projects that shape our future.
